Robinson was a mill town with some large sawmills, in Robinson, up in Bingo (the area that you will find if you don't make the 90-degree turn that Route 73 makes and continue straight on the dirt road), and along Brandon Brook at the foot of West Hill, up Chittenden Brook, and along Brandon Brook as the road climbs towards the gap towards Mount Horrid.

Robinson at the turn of the Twentieth Century
